‍ ‍ Massive Hemorrhage

1- Combat Application Tourniquet- The gold standard of tourniquets heavily trusted upon by military and first responders.

5-5×9 in dressings. When paired with the self adhering rolled bandage becomes an effective pressure dressing. The simple addition allows for multiple bandages to be available in a compact space.

2- rolls self adherent rolled bandage- Significantly more effective than Gauze as it sticks to itself being able to add significant pressure and allows for faster, neater, and more effective dressing securing.

Option of wound packing gauze.

Airway

Nasopharyngeal airway- basic airway device for unconscious patients. - Optional

Respirations

1 pair Occlusive chest seals- Used to prevent air from coming into the thoracic cavity and collapsing a lung.

Circulation

Accomplished by controlling bleeding

Hypothermia/ Head injury

1 Mylar banket- hypothermia is a major threat to trauma patients.

Tools

1 roll tape- Use to write down patient information, secure dressings, or many other things…you always need good tape.

1 Trauma shears- Used to cut clothes to expose wounds.

1 marker- Permanent marker used to communicate issue such as time a tourniquet is applied.

Personal Protective Equipment

4 pairs gloves- Protect yourself from bloodborne pathogens.

1 CPR barrier- to protect from pathogens due to mouth to mouth ventilations.
